Audi A3 e-tron Concept Shanghai 2011 video, photos, details

Audi has put to show us the green side, so even in Shanghai presented an e-tron model, the Audi A3 e-tron concept based on the A3 sedan concept that we saw in Geneva last March.

The four-door prototype has a hybrid engine that combines performance 1400aris TFSI 211 hp (!!!) with a small electric motor 20 kW (27 hp). Total stands at 238 horsepower and horses combined with a 7-speed S tronic automatic transmission. When the car moves with both engines simultaneously, do 0-100 kph in 6.8 seconds with a top speed of 231 kph.

The motor is powered by the lithium ion batteries 12 kWh located behind the rear seats, giving the Audi A3 e-tron concept range 54 km when driven exclusively by the electric motor. The Audi says its batteries recharged either through the energy recovery of the car, either through a simple household outlet.
