Gaddafi (still) has an interest in Fiat?

Information is Wikileaks.
Muammar Gaddafi has ruled Libya for the last 42 years, ordered by the army, people and finances of the rich Arab country.

In 1976 he bought Fiat shares worth $ 415,000,000, which yields 14% of the Italian brand.

A little later, however, in 1980 Fiat buys back the shares already worth 3.1 billion U.S. dollars, as the share of Libya in the company hinders their commercial relations with the U.S..

Scandalous edition Wikileaks claims, however, that Gadhafi still holds in Fiat.

Information provided by the U.S. U.S. Department whereby the Libyan Arab Foreign Investment Company still owns 2% of Fiat.

Italians deny the allegations, claiming that their relations with Gaddafi have concluded already in 1980.
